Dug up a few other shells for you, not to my surprise.
The above shells are from the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater, FL. This is also the place where my husband got down on one knee, so you can imagine that I have a whole sack of shells from this beach.
This one is from Destin, FL, which is by Florida’s Panhandle. It’s “drill hole” is in a unique spot, right by the hinge of this bivalve. This location is also a great place to see marine life, let me tell you. Jellyfish, crabs, dolphins – oh my!
I even collect the smallest of shells, like this one from Jamaica.
When you can find a shell like this one whole, it’s a keeper. I have so many that are just the top half or the bottom. This one is also from Clearwater, FL.
